Tumor treatment in Cádiz

Tumor treatment

Skin tumors, which are abnormal collections of different types of cells, can be present at birth or develop later. When growth is controlled and the cells do not spread to other parts of the body, these skin growths (tumors) are noncancerous (benign).

In addition to the skin, tumors can affect soft tissues, which include tissues such as fat, muscle, blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue. Soft tissue tumors can be benign, such as lipomas or hemangiomas, but they can also be malignant, as in the case of soft tissue sarcomas. These tumors can grow aggressively and involve nearby structures, so early detection and treatment are critical.

When growth is uncontrolled and cells invade normal tissue and also spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body, the tumors are cancerous (malignant).
